The key is to enjoy, and make sure that you do it in such a way, that the project gets done! It's not how FAST you get it done, just that you DO get it done. Some wonder how I can keep plodding away on something, knowing it will be a year or more before I get it on the road, having never driven it, but it was my plan, and I'm happy with the progress, and the quality of the progress.

well despite all that was said and what i have learned , i obviously didnt learn anything ........... my 49 is sitting here and day after day of looking at it wanting to restore , but knowing it'd be a parade princess if i got it done has led me to go and do something bordering on lunacy once again ......................... surely there is a doctor or someone who can medicate my mind to prevent such craziness ..................... give me a few months and i'll be able to add another chapter to this thread LOL!!!!!!!!!! this one will be done though .................. stop laughing really it will . d-mm-t stop laughing i can here you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just getting started good on the 49 F-1 but my wife and my buddy still inform me that I should have bought one that was already fixed up. I'm having to hire a lot of help but will do all I can myself. It's the challenge of fixing one up and saving it from a crusher of the Rust Monster. When you buy a fixed up truck it will always feel like "Their truck" to me.
Just my 2 cents worth, Mike

BACA - should have read all the posts! If you are talking about the flash, a lot of IT guys at work places don't allow flash. That's one possibility. Or, your work computer doesn't have the flash plug-in, that's the other possibility.
Did you check out the bodywork link? Here it is (beware, 6 pages of pictures!)

Oh yeah, I see you are in Moore - I go out there to Norman to the Postal Service school, every once in a while. I was there both the week before, and the week after the tornado - man, what devastation! Hopefully, next time I get out there, we can meet up!

Re: meeting, sounds good. Let me know the next time you are coming this way and we can meet for lunch or something.
