Horsepower?

I just bought a 1979 F-150 ranger with a balanced and blueprinted 390, edelbrock 4 barrel, cam, headers, and cherry bomb glasspacks. I was wondering if anyone knows an estimate of horsepower?

Ask in the FE forum. Lots of great guys in there that will certainly tell you what it SHOULD be making

Seriously though, throw this in the FE forum and you'll get some of the pro's to run simulations for you and give you a ballpark hp/tq number.

Good Strategy!!!!!

Considering the stock 390 is based at 250 hp, I am sure he is in the range of 300-310 hp.

Depends on the grind of the cam, the type / CFM of the Edelbrock 4 bbl., etc.

I used to have a Dyno Desktop where you could plug in all the factors on the computer and it was quite accurate with hp estimates,
