? 41 stakebed, '92 300 inline, efi back to carb, points
Greetings, new to forum,
? anyone do a reverse fuel conversion, electronic fuel injection back to carb, points?
i am building a rat; '41 commercial cab, stakebed on a '92 van chassis w/300 inline, i want to go backwards as i want to get rid of the computers, wiring and simplify. any help appreciated, i can check email twice a day, early a.m., late p.m.

To answer the question, Yes.
Make an opening in the block for a mechanical fuel pump...the bolt holes are there...just have to open what the factory plugged for EFI system...or use an after market electric fuel pump. Probably easier to use a DSII electronic ingition system with a recurved dizzy unless you have a burning desire to use a points system. Other than that, just back up to carb equipment approximately '83 and older and go.

'86, yes...but it was the dreaded feedback carb. I would suggest going back to something like '83 or older if using the stock set up and you can probably scrap the EGR and AIR systems too but you would still have the electronic ignition and dizzy....Not sure when the change from points to electronic.
