Making an engine custom intake is alot more than just getting some tubes welded up. Do you have any plans/designs to go by?
Look in the yellow pages for tubing if you do go that way.

Im assuming you mean like a cold air intake, or something of the sorts?

Im not sure where a guy would get that 3-4 inch tubing, maybe a plumbing shop?

If its an intake for the engine, then ya got me. Theres gotta be some aluminum around you could get welded up though.

I would check out a plumbing shop then. Some metal shops might be able to roll a piece of aluminum and throw a bead on there to whatever size you want too.

sounds like a ram air setup to me, pvc from centennial or somewhere similar would do the trick. For the larger size might have to look more industrial retailers. Keep in mind the more air you shove in there the more that has to come out so you might have to look at exhaust work too if you notice your mileage suffering

Speaking of semi stuff, you could go to one of the semi wreckers in stoon and check around for some tubing too.

Make sure you take some pics and notes while making it, always neat to see stuff being home made
