When I was running 3k miles a week hauling cars I went 10k on avg w/ dino. No extra filtering, no oil analysis. Peterbuilt/Ford truck dealer that did any needed warranty work for me told me I would be fine with that. I only drove that F350 for a year, but the guy I sold it to last I heard (thru the local ford dealer) had over 300k on it without any motor issues. I typically change mine around 7k miles.
