Changing wheels question
Hi:
I own a 1999 navi with 17" chrome oem wheels wrapped in a 255/75 17 tires.
If i´m correct these wheels have 14+ offset.
My question is
Could i change these wheels for a 01 aviator wheels with 44+ offset? and
What do tou think about the lug adaptes to convert the 5*135 lug pattern to 6 lug pattern?
Thanks
Gabo

Not sure. Do not understand your offset numbers. are the inches? centimeters? millimeters? Either way, a + number means outboard right? If so, you are +30 xx and then you have to add the adapter. Put the numbers together and see just how far of center you really are.
Also, will it push the tire out of the wheel well? This is illeagal n some states.

Ok, let me explain.
If i correct a +number or offset close the wheel to the fender space, not away it
The stock wheels have +14 mm offset, and the aviator wheels have +44 mm offset. The diference is 3 cm.
Therefore the aviator wheels and tires sits 3 cm inside of the fender space, obiusly using the same tires.
My question is
Need i put an adapter to return the wheel away the 3 cm for the fender space?
Thanks ans sorry for my bad english. I´m a mexican guy.
