Oops. Forgot to update. Took another step down on Monday. Now I'm just over a half pack per day. (bout 12 or so...)
...and will cut back some more when I get to Monday again...

Well, here it is...Monday again...I'll be under half of a pack today. Now I'm at two hours between cigarettes.
Tis 9:30 am, and I've only had one so far...I'm making progress...

Terry that is great!
Suggestion, only because I been there, done that, get some PEPPERMINT GUM to chew between urges to smoke.
Trust me it will help to surpress the urge, and a heck of a lot cheaper.
So are you starting to get your taste buds back? Can you start to tell when others are smokers?
If not, you are pretty close to getting your taste and smell back.
Keep up the good work!

You need someone like we have here at work Terry. This guys smokes like four packs of unfiltered pall malls a day. He smells like someone used an armpit for an ashtray. When I quit, and when I would have an urge, I just walked by him. Amazingly, urge gone!!

Well for me I tried various flavors and peppermint worked the best as far as suppressing the urge. Hard peppermint candy is a second choice, it helps with the urge to suck on a cig. Seriously!

Oh and Terry, get some gum that you hate. That's why I use peppermint.
Side effect, it helps settle your stomach.
