Yeah but don't go crazy either.

I'm twenty pounds heavier than when I quit 14 months ago.

Bruce if I told you once, I told you a thousand times, our problem is gravity. The older we get the more effect gravity has on us. We are just shrinking in height and it shows more.

Yes George, I expect that the greater readings on my scale are from all the intense knowledge content in my brain! Smart, huh?

Oh yes. In fact we may have to give out "Smartie" awards to old dedicated FTE'ers.

Ah...yup.

I'll admit that it wasn't as bad as I'd expected...but Lord, that stuff ain't good.

At this moment, I'm chewing plain old bubble gum again...but I've got the Nicorette sitting here on my desk for when the urge arises.

Thanks, George.

Congrats to all the new quitters. Haven't stopped in a while. I am 7 mos smoke free as of June 2. I tried the Chantix and it messed with my head (not highly recommended by docs anymore) so I used the nico gum (orig flavor). The nastier tasting the better. Anyway, what works for one might not work for the other. IMO, first step is to be ready MENTALLY. Good luck folks!

I found that when using the gum, a third of a piece works as well as a whole piece. Just less nasty by volume and cuts the cost as a side benefit.

Yeah? I may try that...not sure how exactly to cut a piece of gum tho...

I think I lost a third of the first piece to that damn foil...

Bite it in half. Its not like you chew it. Only a couple chumps, stick it in your cheek. I actually got addicted to the damn gum! LOL I'd still chew it to this day! LOL
