C4 to Y block in a 54
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-May-02 AT 03:49 AM (EST)]I'd like to find a solution for adapting a 292 Y-block to a C4 and use the transmission mount under the bellhousing in my 54 F100. I have searched the past posts and found a link to the www.ford-y-block.com site, but it doesn't have exactly what I'm looking for. I've considered using the manual bellhousing and adapting the C4 to that, but wondered what size of torque converter would clear.
Any ideas out there?
TIA,

C4 to Y block in a 54
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-May-02 AT 00:58 AM (EST)]Yes, the [link:www.flat-o.com/yblock.htm|flat-o.com] web site has an adapter, but that adapter does not having mounting blocks to mount it to the crossmember. But, thank you for responding.
EDIT: Sorry, I just noticed that they are stating that 'truck mounts coming soon', so that does sound like a solution. Many thanks.
