Yup, it's come on twice in the past 10 days or so.
It seems to come on when I'm driving along....you know how it is...everything is fine and the next time you glance at the speedo that orange light catches your eye and the pucker factor goes waaaaay the heck up.
So now it's got my undivided attention....it stays lit for several more glances at the speedo and then it's off. So my first thought is to pay attention to it expecially the next time I start it up....but it doesn't light back up (the initial key turn where everything lights up doesn't count).
So I'm feeling a little better each time I drive it and it doesn't light up again.
Then 4 or 5 days later....BAM! It lights up again....just like the last time. Only for a minute or 7 and then it goes out again.
I'm up to 68K on the truck and I have yet to replace fuel filters. I'm always careful to buy fuel from places with high volume/turnover to help make sure I'm puttin in good fuel. I still use DK at every fillup. Whadda youse guyz think? What's it tryin' to tell me?

Hey Joe, did you get this resolved? Just my .02, but I would change your fuel filters (I think Ford recommends every 15K) and drain your fuel/water separator. I do mine at least every other oil change.
I went and bought filters yesterday...that's today's agenda. I went and pulled the info on changing them and draining the water from the tech file so as soon as the dew burns off a bit you know what I'll be doin'.

Just ain't my day....it's not quit raining all day. To make things worse, I can JUST get the nose of the truck into the garage....but then I have so much crap in the garage, I can't get to the nose to open her up and do the filter change.
SO, I'm hoping for a one hour respite at some point this week so I can get these filters put in.

About 5 it stopped raining so I drained the HFCM and I got enough water to cover the bottom of a thimble so that parts good. I also got the topside filter changed. Now I just need to change the lower filter but since I JUST filled the truck this morning, I think I'm ok until next Sunday and I'll get the lower filter changed once the truck is almost empty.
She fired right up with no problems so I think I'm good.
