I have a new 08 f150 4x4, can anyone tell me how to clean the instrument panel without scratching the plastic? On all my previous trucks I've tried numerous things but... the plastic always ends up scratched. Any advice?
I had the same problem you did. Somebody took the vacuum to it and scratched it up. I use some regular cleaning wipes to do it now. Sometimes I will run a ArmorAll interior wipe over it or a glass cleaning wipe. I just depends what is in my hand.
i just bought a wash mitt that you can use dry to dust off your interior. i got it at wal mart for $5 or so. when i had my chevy some idiot at the car wash took the vacum to my panel and boogered it all up. they removed the scratches with plane old chrome polish.
Yup, I use the plain Armor All cleaning wipes and that's it. Don't care for the glossy ones 'cause they give off too much glare from the sun and a dash doesn't look right being that glossy.
