What is book time for the removal of the cab?
Did Ford put in some quick release harnesses, and easy access fasteners?

Curious if its a 3 hour job...or 30.

Not sure on the time requirements. Yes, they did put quick release harnesses on the 08 trucks to expedite the process. Yes, they have easy to access bolts that go from the bottom up. The designed this cab to come off as easy as possible.

I'm sure its only a few hours once you know the process down pat, but the first time there is probably a pretty good learning curve for it.

Look to the left, I think that crate holds the answer.

Sure is easier to work on an engine than crawling over the fender like we used to.

Sorry, don't have any of the specifics on the job other than it's an engine replacement. My son is a Ford diesel tech up in NY, and sent me the pic.

There's always someone pointing out things around the edges of posted photos...nice spot M4X. I never noticed the engine until you pointed it out. All I saw was a SD hanging from the roof.

Funny. I was cringing over the plumbers crack to notice much else in the photo.
