Hey Pat - How about some Tork Thrust Wheels for the Mustang. Some Grey Painted Tork Thrust Classics would look Awsome on that thing! Thats what I am putting on my 56.

As much as I would LOVE to do that, here is the deal with the Mustang (and the '39 coupe, for that matter). The mustang was willed to us (my 3 older brothers and I) by our mom when she passed away, with 2 stipulations: 1. the mustang will always stay in the family 2. we HAVE to keep it stock. No hot rodding it. Well, I have to stick by those. So, I figure as long as Ford offered it, then it's okay! So, I'm thinking we're gonna go with the Magnum 500's, and a nice set of white lettered tires. Now, If I get a Fairlane, whole different story! Oh, hey, that reminds me, I need to get my hotel booked for cruise night weekend. I knew I kept forgetting something!!

Hi guys, hey does anyone know anything about 76 Highboys? I have a friend in Eastern Colorado that has one with a bad preasure cylinder and wants to know if he can rebuild it. The best price we found was at LMC for $249. w/ $150. core charge. The guy can't get that by the MRS.

It is an expensive rebuild. There are some threads talking about this subject if you do a search for "power assist".

Here is a link I found for rebuilding.

index

I said heck with the power assist and did the conversion to the newer 78-79 integrated setup you see with the later 78-79 F250 4x4s. A much better system, but requires some fabrication.

Thanks Buck, I did a search using "power cylinder" and it only came up with brakes and something else. I sent him your info and he can do the rebuild himself. That will keep his wife happy.

Geez the weather is coming this way, tornados and all the mess.
