Well your looking at a 3/4 ton truck with a V10... I'm sure you aren't expecting very good gas mileage. Otherwise about the only major problem that comes to mind is the exhaust manifold studs breaking. Pros? Power on tap, V10, and its not a diesel. You'll be happy with a V10... not many people are disappointed with theirs and it seems like alot of diesel owners are actually switching to the V10 now.

Im not worried about gas milage...Im only 17 most people my age are but I should be alright. As far as the breaking studs go they are all former government trucks so if anything like that happened to them they would have been fixed because they have a regular service schedual. Theres actually 5 to pick from but only 3 I would buy. I found them at... Welcome to Jardine Auctioneers INC. Auctioneers, Liquidators, Appraisers You can find them in the May 10th Auction.

I feel ya man. I bought mine the day I turned 19. Which was just over a year ago. Been extremely happy with my truck and about the biggest thing I've HAD to replace was the heater core. I just wish mine was a crew cab with a long bed.

Do a plug and boot change. Then service the rest of the fluids and filters. Check out the front end very good. The ball joints are known to not last a long time.

Check the steering real good. Steering gears are pretty expensive to replace. start and let run for as bit, listen for a ticking noise at startup. can be either exhaust manifold leak or a plug about to blow out of the head. Both stop making noise after a couple of minutes in most cases but the plug will blow out over a short amount of time.
