Took Homade to the speedway today in the rain and ran the track, 80/85mph in the rain with no hood, new pics in gallery, the third album down I think, not real good pics but better than nothing and did I say it was raining. I had a BLAST but wish the pics were better but what do you expect for a hillbilly, Garry

It was saturday april 19th, I'll post the next time as soon as I hear the date. It was supposed to rain all day so I went early this a.m. in the rain then around 10a.m. it quite raining, go figure, good day anyway.

I can imagine that was a lot of fun.

The pictures make your truck look like an ant on the sidewalk, though.

Cool! I've done this once in my 56. Homade looks right at home on the track. How did it handle in the rain?

It handled real good even though it has no floor at all just bed sides and tail gate with 285/60R16 rubber, don't know that I would have wanted to try any faster though but it was fun.

 

KY Speedway...sounds like a slippery track.....even without the rain...Good to hear at least someone is out enjoying the fruits of their labour. We've been getting snow all weekend (grass was starting to green up) and now we are expecting an additional 2-4" over the next two days. Don't bother me too much tho, cause I'm still in the shop stage.
