Almost have one led tail light done for my obs. I need to wet sand it then clear the entire thing after painting the edges black and then put the pigtail wires when they come in.

Took my truck and parked it at the local garage for them to sort out the electrical issues.

Sprayed some more PB Blaster on the bed bolts hoping I might be able to get them out without cutting them. I doubt it though

And almost did some damage to both trucks today.

I was backing my 97 into my parking spot on the side of our steep driveway, and my front tires slid on a patch of ice. Causing the truck to slide down the driveway right toward the 93.

Luckily I was able to catch some dirt, stopping about 5 feet short of the other truck.

I'd say the pucker factor was high!

What LED's did you use. I have been wanting to make a set for my truck, but TCM wouldn't tell me what kind he was using for his.

Yeah, that's a feeling I don't want to feel again...lol

Luckily I was was able to think quickly enough to get it out of reverse and put it in neutral in an attempt to help it stop quicker.

Just got my underdrive crank pulley and installed it then went and got a custom length belt and new tensioner. Works great, the little squeak I had is now gone. Very easy install and if you look down at it she is a shiny aluminum piece.

Went and picked my truck up from the shop.

Truck is up and running. Charging at a HEALTHY 14.32v at the Battery.
The alternator (A reman'd Motorcraft unit) had failed.
Total cost so far:
-$40.00-Diagnosis/Troubleshooting by Bill Harper @ Harper's Garage
-$115.30-Tough One brand 80amp Alternator from Advance Auto (ick!)
----------------------------
$145.30 total, and me installing the "new" Alternator myself (Literally took me $15 minutes TOPS
I was on the right track with the troubleshooting, using my personal knowledge of the truck and mechanical skills; I simply had no actual tester.
Although I'd metered the output voltage at like 8.42v while the truck was running. I simply wasn't sure if it was the Alternator itself; or the Exciter Wire (Known issues for this era Ford Truck) had a short.
Thanks to all that shared input!

Changed out the 15w-40 oil to 10w-30 for winter. The fuel pump(s) still act strange(make ticking and surging noises) intermittently when the rear tank is selected. Except it will run for an extended period without any problem on the rear, but die after about 15-20 minutes with the front tank selected...but no odd sounds or running til it dies, just constant pump running sounds.
