Picked up a shell for the 90 F150. Fits but not perfect. Going to use it till we can find a better one. Just need a shell on this truck because of the fact we use this one for everything but tall loads so figured why not. Got to clean it up and mount it.

Went on a little road trip with the family to Cincinnati in my wife's aviator. While we were there, I picked up a nice chrome bumper for my truck.

Looked at it admiringly, while I worked in my shop. That way, I could enjoy it without burning any gas...

I've got cold AND rain keeping me inside. I tackled the rear tank removal and pump/sending unit replacement last week in similar weather, and I'd rather not do that again.

Got the P/S fender arch put in; just needing to grind it all down and finish up any welding.

Makes 2 arches put in this year. Getting closer to paint!

Also, picked this lil fella up Friday.

Cobra 9 band for $25 NEW.

Among the other stuff done, was put a new Mic hanger in the truck. Was getting tired of my CB mic dangling just wherever...

Well….. I’ve just put the finishing touches on my 4.10 gear change with a Trac-Loc front differential. This included new ball joints, U joints, drilled and slotted front brake disks, poly arm bushings, and Warn HD hubs. Other work was the cleaning and packing of the front hubs and wheel bearings. Today was the front end alignment. Everything is right in spec now and just finished centering the steering wheel. It rides and steers better than new!
While it was setting getting all of this work done, the ECU decided to have one of the caps fail and actually one of the leads broke off of the cap. Ordered a rebuilt that took a while to arrive. While waiting I replaced the failed cap ($1.47) and continued to work on the truck. Received the ECU and have it installed. I also had the started fail. The starter motor would spin but it would not turn over the engine. 60K miles old with a lifetime warranty. Just had to pull it and exchange it for a new rebuilt starter.
So I think that I’m ready now for the winter season.

That's a lot of work you got done. I'm sure it feels good to have things accomplished. Nice work!

Thanks!

The front Dana 44 IFS was quite a learning experience. I was trying to not have to buy a new Trac-Loc but after much trial and error, ended up getting one anyway. Many hours to get it apart but it went back together very easily and should be easier to work on in the future.

Picked up a set of running boards off a 99 super duty for free thinking about putting them on the 91 F250. They are for an extended cab and only extended cab that we have that they would fit (other is a 96 ranger) is the 91 F250.
They look just like these ones on our 02 F250 but all black and not metal:

Edit: or I won't add a pic since FTE keeps saying my pic is corrupt when I just uploaded that pic a couple days ago???
