What have you done to your truck today?
I put on the new inside door handle, hooked up the lock cylinder, put the inside door panel on, took off the lame Dickies brand "seat cover", and put a blanket down on the driver's seat. I also went by my insurance agent and got it insured so I can drive it. Drove it to Oreilly's to get a door lock clip which I ended up not using.
Got the lifter galley cover off my 4.9L today. It's taken about 2 weeks. I had trouble getting the dipstick bracket off one of the bolts that hold the galley cover on.
Anyways, I spent a little over an hour (with engine de-greaser, brake cleaner, carb cleaner, and my Dremel tool and wire wheel) cleaning up the cover. Just needs more brake cleaner to rinse it and then its ready for paint and primer.
I think I'm going to paint the metal bracket that attaches to the cover and holds the wire harness. I'm also going to paint the bracket that holds the coil on to the engine block as well. Just need more brake cleaner, engine de-greaser, and another wire wheel to take the crud, rust, and old paint off.
I also need some engine enamel and engine primer. Thankfully, my truck isn't the primary mode of transportation.

Crawled underneath to look at the exhaust system.
The PO removed the cat system so I get to spend about $400 to buy a new cat and y-pipe, plus about $150 to purchase the muffler, tail pipe, etc.
yay
... Have to do it though so that it will pass inspection - then I can drive it for a while before stripping it down for the frame-off.

Well I finally got it where I felt ok driving it to work today. I put 10 dollars of gas in it, which with recent price drops was over 3 gallons. I also used an orange based cleaner to clean out the inside, it was the purple power brand stuff. I figured as dirty as it was there was no reason to use a gentle cleaner.

I thought I had a rear main seal leak due to oil pouring from bottom of oil pan area. I was losing a gallon every 60 miles. I washed the engine and found that the oil was coming from the HPOP area.So I went to the ford dealer to buy HPOP o-rings, the gentleman behind the counter stated that he would have no problem selling them to me but wanted me to make sure that's where the leak was coming from so I went out to the truck and followed the HPOP line and found the leak where the line enters the fuel rail. I tightened the bolt 1/4 turn and ended my oil leak problem once and for all.
Moral of the story: Study online resources and speak with the pros instead of guessing, it will save you alot of time and money.
