What have you done to your truck today?
i drove the f150 today, on the e250 van i got the accumulator , condensor , orfice installed , waiting for the drive belt to show up from rock auto so i can install the compressor. ( converting a non ac van to ac) i will be doing spark plugs while i have the dog house off and installing my tilt coulmn for it too . i also got the plugs n wires doen on the 95 crown vic, (runs much better now) took the doors and decklid off the 69 cougar and gutted them , getting ready for primer and paint. and laundry, damn i was busy!
Finally got the water pump and timing cover sealed up. I just used Permatex for water pumps and thermostats. No gasket, just the sealant. Found two gauge clusters at PicknPull for '94/'95 gas trucks. Bought them both, going to install this weekend. Found a 93 with one too, but apparently my truck is not compatible with that.

ALL the clusters are "Compatible"....
Only differences are the Airbag Warning light in the 94+ models (Pre-94 didn't have this feature) and a couple lights are in the "Wrong positions"...
A simple re-pinning fixes it all...If you have the pin-out schematics...
Which I have.............................
that was my best pick and pull run yet. I got 2 pieces of trim for inside the truck, I meant dash pad with no crack, the solenoid and separator plate for inside my transmission(fingers crossed it fixes my harsh 1-2 shift) and the mustang hood scoop I originally wanted (not as tall but wider then mu current one . Think I'm going yo make this one functional) all for $65
I also found a dash pad with no cracks or tears, so I pulled that too at my Pick & Pull run. Found a seat belt latch that is much stronger than my driver side one too. Didn't have the torx tool though, so I'll head back this weekend to grab it. Its funny to see how much fun the wives have at craft stores while we tirelessly wait for them to finish up. Then we have fun at Pick and Pull while the wives wait tirelessly for us to finish up. I'm like a kid in a candy store at that place.
I don't know, my wife loves to go to the junk-yard with me. We take the wagon and tools and two copies of the list. She goes after the small easy to get parts, while I go after the hard to get parts. Next time we might even take the walkie-talkies.
