Picking up my truck from the Brakes Plus today. Sent her in Saturday for an allignment (hasn't been done in 5 years) and I guess it was really out of wack, in addition it turns out the cam bearings had to be replaced. It seemed nobody in town carried the right parts, so the truck was there all weekend because of it. Oh well, at least it's comin home today!

Also threw 40 dollars at the '94 F-250 I just put on the road here last week.

I'm numb to gas prices anymore, I don't even notice when they go down.
It's something like $3.41 here last time I checked. Prices going WAAY down towards election day as usual...

Just outta curiosity, what MPG does the 1500 get? I've heard the HEMI is just horrible, but that the V6 does pretty good.

Took a small load of scrap in today, mostly junk that was hiding away out in the garage that had been there for lord knows how long. Glad I mounted that winch in the bed of the truck a couple weeks ago made loading a breeze.

When I went out and fired up the ol girl this morning at 31* after sitting for a couple days and without using the block heater, started right up first cycle of the glow plugs and about 6-7 seconds of cranking, was impressed. Also got to see the start of the storm coming in, sure was a pretty drive today with what little bit of snow we've gotten so far.

Little bit of the scenery on my route today.

Thanks man, I agree cant't beat the look of a flatbed on an old Ford IMO.

Same to you, normally don't care for the spoiler behind the cab on some trucks but it looks good on yours, fits good on a SCLB .

Removed the Gas Cap so the matching could be better.
That is why I'm glad we don't get much snow and therefore no salt. I get to use my truck all year round without worrying about it rotting into pieces.

I pulled my engine two weeks ago to replace some stuff and got hung up with defective parts. Still waiting for parts to come but hurricane sandy is clamping down on my truck right now so this project is on hold untill the flooding recedes. Might not be much of a project left after this mess.
