Early 94 Keyless Remote Programing
Just received a new Key less Remote for my truck. Searched the Forums and no info on procedures for programing a new remote. Dose anyone out there have any info for me.
I also tried the website that came with the remote and it calls for jumping the pins on the harness below the steering column but there isn't one.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

My experience:

-Jumped Programming connector (after jumped doors lock, Clicking sound comes from under dash, doors unlock after 5-8 seconds)
-Pushed Remote button ( nothing happens )
-Turn ignition off ( nothing happens )
Still don't know, Still would appreciate any info

Remote Battery's are new.
The reason I purchased a new one was the little hole that holds it on the key ring broke. Its a pain having to find your keys and your key less remote. It still worked perfectly, just wasn't on the key ring.
When i did the above procedure. It cleared the code on the one that worked and won't even let me re program the old on that worked.
Both Remotes I have are the same Product Numbers and the internal boards are identical.
All they guys out there that don't have key less entry are thinking Welcome to the Club.

Alright I figured it out. here is what I did to make it work
under the dash there are 3 wire plug harnesses that connect into the controller for the keyless enty.
I unpluged all three harnesses and re inserted them.
After that the above instructions worked flawlessley.
Hope this helps out anyone in the future.
