I am currently trying to get incontact with the owner to get a little more info...
Usually they have Portable bathrooms, a consesion stand that servers food and drinks, and a drag compatition on a dirt track.
I'd be willing to bet everything will be normal, but possibly no drag races.
There's a ton of room for parking.
I was planning on getting there early and setting up in "My" usual spot (about the only place out there under a tree with shade).
Figuring we can BBQ, and possibly bring a side(rice dressing?) along with
many many MANY alcoholic beverages (if you're not driving...) all while BSing and watching the mud fly!
So who's interested?

I am interested. Not 100% sure yet. I'll have to see if I finish all of the honey do's. I might try to bring the F150 if I can play with the 36" swampers. I have a few maintaince items that need attention first.

Sounds good Robert, I'm just going to watch, BS, drink, have some BBQ, etc....
IF you decide to bring your F150, then you wouldn't have any trouble out there unless you tried to go through a hole.
IF you have some momentum, and the hole isn't to deep, it'd make a hell of a show and you'd probably make it.
I'll be there, doing all the B's(BBQ, BS, Beer, Babes lol)

Really interested in meeting you guys and checking out the trucks, but i might have to spray chemicals w/ my dad in the canefields(we usually spray on the weekends) but it depends on the weather. Would love to go and cookup, i can bring deer sausage and wild pig. I'm not quite 21 so yall can bring the booze.
I talked to the owner of Duhon's and asked him if the drag strip would be open, and about bath rooms and the concession stand.
His response:
Hi Matthew
We need to check the lights on the drag strip but we are planning to have the strip open to races. We do have port-a lets and the concession will be open with hamburgers, chill dogs drinks and more.

We are still kinda interested in going over Sunday Morning,the 20th, it's a pretty good little trip from Kentwood (150 miles each way, about 6 hours roundtrip) it's according to who all else is going.
We will decide for sure this weekend if we are or aren't.
I am still out on the limb. I want to go. I just have to clear it with the boss lady. Also I need to see if I can get some friends to ride with me. I need a DD.
