P275/60R20 Michelin LTX A/T2. I have a 2" leveling kit but cleared without. I love them. The ride is quiet and smooth, like you are on glass and they are good for light off-roading and recreational fun.

I have stock "crap" Goodyear's on my 08. Had them on my 02 before I sold it. When they wear out, I'll replace them with another set of stock, "crap" Goodyear's. I typically get 60k out of a set of them, they are quiet, have better snow and mud traction than the Michelin's etc.

Read about halfway down on Page 1 for the comparisons of the Michelin and Goodyear. Granted, they are the Silent Armor's (which will be the replacement) but I have no qualms with my Goodyear Wrangler's either.

I just put 265 70 17 Continental CrossContact LX tires on for the summer. I have winter tires that I run in the snow so I will use these for summer only. They are very quiet and run just as smooth as the Michelins that came on my truck. The tread isn't very agressive, but most of my driving is highway so they work well for me. They are new so I can't comment on tread life, but they were rated pretty highly on the tire sites.

I bought my truck used, and they have the Remingon Wide Brute (I Think thats the name) LT265/70R17. Seem to be a pretty good tire.
Maybe I'll go a little better when I have to replace them...

I have the 285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have about 35,000 miles on them right now and I still have a decent amount of tread lift on them. I went in for a rotation the other week and the tire place told me they could see getting another 7 to 8K out of them. I really did not expect them to last that long.

I think my next set will be a mud terrian tire just for the look mainly...so totally unpractical but hey sometimes you have to be.

I don't think Michelins can be beat for traction, quietness and long wear.

I don't think you could go wrong with goodyear wrangler silent armors or michelin ltx ms it depends on what you want for a tire, that tread referenced above says it all....50/50 from everyone on which tire is better....I think since it was a draw i'll be going with the michelin ltx m/s ..... from everyone i've talked to they are as quiet of a tire as you can get, and just amazing in all conditions.

"it depends on what you want for a tire"

This statement really says it all. It all depends on what you want. Do you want a real aggressive looking tread or something that is quiet and wears well.

I've run BFG AT's on other trucks for years and loved them since they wont fit on these wheels i want something as close as possible i still think the traction on the goodyear wranglers is about as good as a racing slick

LOL.....i could have but i've just had such good luck with michelins and such bad luck with goodyears that i had to choose my original pick. I've sat here and looked at the tread patterns for hours...and with my background in the tire bus(worked there a few years) that michelin still looks like the quieter tire, and better rain and ice traction....

i picked up a set of firestone destinatinon A/T's. they look great, have a 50,000 mi warranty and ride nice and not a lot of road noise. the a/t's have a little more aggressive tred then the L/E's
