Belt tensioner assembley
Can anyone tell me if the bolt that holds the tensioner assembly is left or right hand threads. Thanks

Are you talking about trying to remove the pulley or remove the entire tension assembly.?

It is right hand thread, if I remember right. No reason for it to be left hand.

Nope even that is right handed. Tensioner bolt is right handed as well.

QUESTION:
Is the idler on the belt tensioner replaceable?? And is that the Nut/Bolt that is in question? or the one that secures the tensioner to the engine?
I'm really confused as to what part we are discussing!!
We also have a conflict as to how the threads are cut,
RH or LH??

I am pretty sure this thread is asking about the right hand thread bolt that hold the tensioner to the engine bracket.
