What do you eat with breakfast?

At breakfast this morning I wondered what folks prefer to have with their breakfasts most mornings. If you would, a short blurb why you like what you like.

I eat a large bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, usually plain; sometimes I put a bit of milk and either smuckers jam or honey.

Always have coffee with my breakfast.

If I were to deviate from that, then 'any of the above' could be happy choices.

Very good. Uh, please vote other then. This isn't taking off very quickly.

Thanks.

My breakfast usually consists of fresh eggs from my own backyard, Sausage or bacon, and biscuits. Occasionally I will have some grits with my breakfast. If I don't eat biscuits my second choice is wheat bread toast. I think I will have a big stack of blueberry pancakes with breakfast tomorrow.

guess I will have to choose other because BBQ and beer wasn't a choice on your poll!! by the way I work 3rd shift,so not sure what I eat in the morning after work would be considered "breakfast",but it is the time most folks are eating breakfast. I got some wierd looks when my hottie neighbor moved in next door. The 1st time she came out on the porch to let her dog out and smoke a cigarette,I had the grill going and a beer in my hand. she looked at me and said"damn I must have slept REALLY late today,it's supper time already!!"

Most of the time I have a bowl of cereal. Not my first choice, but it's quick and easy. When I have time, and motivated, I'll fix some eggs, any way is good for me, except burnt, sausage or bacon, pancakes, and some goetta if it's in the house. Any of these combinations work for me. Wheat toast with butter and honey. When I eat a breakfast like that, I'll skip dinner and eat supper.

As a rule I don't eat breakfast. Just gimmie a large cup of coffee, black, no sugar.
When I do eat breakfast. I love Lightly toasted Rye (with seeds) and a couple of poached eggs on top, with well done bacon and home fries.

Is there really any other way to eat rye bread other than seeded?

I have to start my day out with coffee and if I am hungry I will either get a bowl of cereal or toast with peanut butter on it and if we have baggles or english muffins i will have one of them with butter and peanut butter too.
