If licenced for personal use you would be ok if there is any spot stating commercial vehicle you will need it, along with a daily trip sheet evertime you drive it, a maximum of driving 12hrs/day.....and the list goes on

I've heard of personal use duallies getting tickets for not being annual safetied, but most people say they don't need it, and the HTA doesn't seem to be very clear about it.

you need a yearly safety on a f350 but you dont need a daily trip report if its not for commercial use.

It depends on what it is weighted for. If it is weighted for over 4500 KG then it will need a yearly safety. But, I am assuming you would be over that, if not why the 350?

Let us know what you use it for and we could help you more.

I've never been told of such a thing. I renew my plate sticker and that's all. My trucks are for personal use. My insurance has asked for a safety done before I could get coverage. I've heard many great things about the silver wheel plan, that next term I will switch. They maay require a safety along with an appraisal.? If they do, my last safety was in spring 2006, and have been taking care of the truck since.

even for personal use you still need the yellow stick on the window.you wont get asked at dmv as its dont really deal with them, but MTO will just give you a ticket for not having it.
