On a positive note on the $$ Diesel

Well the good news is, even with very moderate MPG gains, a tune from spartan will pay for itself even faster

Just recieved my XCAL-3 from matt yesterday, waiting for him to call so he can send me my tunes, Can't wait!!!

It is honestly the best upgrade that I have done by far.

when you get matt's econo tune do you get HP gains out of it as well? and what is the difference between all his tunes? i don't understand the XCAL-3 stuff. is there a 1 and 2? LOL

Yes you get an HP gain on all of his tunes, even the stock plus. The XCAL-3 is just the newest SCT tuner. The SCT is the tool you use to load the tune into your truck.

well i just bought my first 6.0L psd last night and took it for a 2 hour road trip to check out the economy on the highway. i was amazed at what i was getting. it was reading 16.4 on the info center on the insturment cluster! this really blew me away since when i bought it it said 10.5. but that is probably just because it had been idling a lot from sitting on the lot and going on short test drives. anywho i couldn't be happier! as soon as i blow through this first tank of fuel, which should be today, and get a hand calculation i'll give an update.
