Add cruise control?
Greetings!
I have a 1993 E-350 XLT Super Clubwagon, that does not have cruise.
However, I believe it has all the parts except the buttons on the steering wheel. I see what looks like a servo below the master cylinder.
I don't really want to mess with trying to change the steering wheel, plus they seem kinda pricey on ebay.
Could I possibly just hook up a few push buttons on the dash for cruise? One for "on" and one for "set" and another for "resume"? That's really about all we'd need. We never use the "coast" function, and we never shut it off, in our other van.
Those are the 5 Ford buttons, right? On, Off, Set/Accel, Coast, and Resume?
What wires would I look for, and where under the dash might they be?
Thanks!
Brian
