Truck Cover Tarps

Wally World (for example) sells car covers, both the el cheapo type that's not waterproof, and the type with two layers of material.
A soft inner layer to keep from scratching the paint, and an waterproof outer layer.
Look at the codes for the sizes of the covers on the box.
You'll need size F, it's the largest size available, unless you have one custom made.
The covers have two steel eyelets sewn on the bottom edge, one on each side, at the halfway point of the cover for a cable lock that can be purchased separately.
I've been to the local Wally World exactly twice, both times to buy car covers.
They have the best prices, usually 1/3rd to 1/2 the cost of the types sold in catalogs.
And in most cases, Wally's covers are the exact same brands.

But the size F covers, while long enough....are not tall enough, so you'll get the "high water pants" look if you put one on a truck with a camper shell.
You will have to have one custom made.
When vehicles that are covered are parked outside, taking these covers off and putting them back on becomes tiresome, and is a dirty job, unless you dust them off, or hose them down first.
It doesn't take too long before ppl just say to he!! with it, and leave them off.
There are far better alternatives available today.
The portable type single car garages that have a metal framework and a waterproof covering material can be bought for the price of a custom car cover.
You drive in, zipper the door closed...that's it. No muss, no fuss.

Bill,I did have one of those "Costco Garages" as we call them up here. After a season or two of our rainy winters, they begin to get a greenish film of moss, plus dust and pollen.Nevertheless, many people have them,as most houses in my 75 year old neighborhood were originally weekend cabins and have no garage.Add to that the assortment of blue tarp roof repairs, and it begins to resemble a third world country-or some parts of Appalachia.Every man needs a garage, and alas,I'm a man without a garage.Life in the Redwoods,a temperate rainforest, can be fun.
