Sunday we had a beautiful day and now were expecting snow.
I cleaned my garage out. Organized some parts. Tried to find the small things I tore down and where I was with it. IM rebuilding my 8" rear and finishing that up first. New brakes and shocks are setting here waiting, then I hope to move on to the driveshaft and then get it running.
When IM bore dwith that I have a heater IM rebuilding and converting to a new 12v setup.

Hopefully within the next couple weeks, I'll finally have all the bits and pieces collected to get my driveline set in the frame and start building mounts for everything (460-NP435-NP205). Then I need to start narrowing the HD Dana 44 axle I have to fit under the front of my F-3 (doing a 4x4 conversion)..

Unfortunately, much of this work means I need to be able to lift the body off the frame again, at least partially, which means I need to clean out the "other half" of the garage so I have a place to put stuff...

Then I need to work on gettin my new utility bed to fit on the frame.. then work on finishing off the sheetmetal.. and .. and... the list goes on

Ice storm and snow coming around 1' this weekend and wish spring would come faster! I have a hot tub to finish on patio -and my back is worse lately ,so this will wait.
Y-BLOCK and 4 speed set in mounts on frame and find a driveshaft. External oiling kit on black 56. I just want to drive some of my trucks this year, and the 71 f100 is my new daily driver, and the black56 will be my heavy hauler and new tires for the front. My diesel project is at a standstill till my buddy gets home. I need to go to pick up my 56 parts in Alabama, and that will be some fun..........oh yea----and the yard needs work too.................Bill

Sorry to hear about all of the snow guys!!! It's about 65 degrees here today in California and is supposed to be 70 by the wekend. (FYI I lived in western Nebraska for the first 23 years of my life....so I know all about the snow and cold. Haven't seen snow in over 16 years!!!) I've got the usual yard work, but then it's on to tubbing the bed, changing the rear u-joint, refinishing my bed wood, putting that all back together, and then it's on to aligning the doors....and I hate doing that. Oh well, still having fun!

New water pumps, new cab floor and rockers, pull the bed off, detail the frame, new brake lines, pull the nose off and fix a bunch of rust...and...and...and...ugh.

Probably won't be on the road any time soon.

I know how the weather in California is---I lived in Scotts Valley-and had a machine shop there and left in 2000......Nice weather-----so moved back to Ohio, and have a place in Florida now. Much cheaper!! haha!! I am going to herculiner my 71 bed today in the barn.....It is snowing bad now--suppose to get 12-14''.......I also need to align the doors on my 56 F100.......Miss that Ca. weather ---big time now!!.........Bill
