15 days, and fingers crossed
Well guys and gals, it's been 20 months since mom died. The 15th of March is the court date with a mediation judge. Hoping and praying all goes well, as it will give us the opportunity to pay off our home, and get settled up on a lot of loose ends. Attorney feels VERY comfortable with the case. Everything is in our corner, and we couldn't of been assigned a better judge. He has a reputation of siding with victims nearly 100%. Hoping for the best, but always keep the worst in the back of our minds. Hoping to finally put the crap of the whole deal behind us, and maybe get some much needed closure. 2008, is a year of change. It is a historic year, our first woman, and first black presidential candidates. Moving forward, and hoping to keep doing so for many more years to come. Will keep everyone posted, as most of you were made very familiar with my circumstances.

wmjoe1953, i don't know the story but i do know about the court system, we lost two grandchildren in 2002. 6 & 8 years old in a home invasion,10 year granddaughter was stabbed 6 times, their mother 17 times both survived. the court system in the US sucks.it's though the victims have no rights. he finally admitted after 3 years and asked for death but will be on death row for who knowhow long. Sorry about your mom but hang in there and have faith
