I dont understand why most people on CL cant type english, and cant say "not quite what i was looking for" when ending a call. not to mention all of the totally obvious scammers who email back referring to the 73 crewcab as an "auto" or "item"

CL sucks most of the time unless you want to actually buy something. I am banner from it via the wife till I do something with my 12 trucks.
Too many good deals to pass up. ( Here in Detroit Metro )

dually crew
I found a 78 F350 crewcab dually for sale down south. Price is under $3000 with no rust. Needs some motor work. Doubt it's currently drivable, how much does one of these beasts weigh? If I buy it I'm considering hauling it back on a trailer with an 07 Dodge Cummins. Thoughts?

Apparently you've never seen a cummins in action before
To be helpful rather than blindly poke fun at another brand. I'll take a blind stab at weight... Depending on how complete I would say it's pushing 7k lbs if it's a dually.
We pulled my 76 2wd short bed F-250 crew behind a Chebby suburban with a 350 and it did fine. The cummins will handle it no problem

Ok.. Well I am new here but am glad to find this thread. I am now on a mad search for parts. I own a 96 F250 standard cab.. and an 89 F350 Crewcab Dually. I talked to the folks at LMC and they cant help and for some reason dont seem to think that the crewcab or the crewcab dually is popular enought to carry parts. They obiously dont cruise in Cali to often.. most trucks these days are all crewcabs.. hmm?? What I need to locate is the rear door panels. Also.. the front doors are power windows and the rears are manual type.. I would like to go all power but then I would like to update the driver side front door panel with a four window power switch. I want it to all look OEM..
