Tell me something though, is this from experience?Because if so, I want to see pics. Well I finally got my CC, not as pretty as yours yet, especially since I couldn't buy yours off the ad in in LA

No i have not done the same conversion, but it is from readily available wheel base specs and mathematics.


CC shortbed is 150" WB and Supercab LB is 155".

The beds are the same after the rear wheels so you section out the frame between back of cab and front of rear tires.

JP3 just did this in his thread....$500 F250.

Hope I didn't sound like a jackass. I was actually hoping you had done it, and had pics for mre reference. I knew it was close to 6" when we put them side by side. But now 5" is an exact number we can work with. Thanks. I never did ever find the CL posting of your truck for sale in Los Angeles.

I have had the crew and 3 LB 4x4 supercabs in the past year....the numbers are in my head at the moment.

Not mine. Read something on this truck once. I believe used a supercab longbed frame and then shortened a longbed to fit. Notice the length of the bed in front of the wheel well. Name:  mediumbedcrew_zps2cee51d7.jpg

My 79 F250 Crew build

Here is my 79 crew cab I plan on building when I get free time. Still collecting parts. Have Nos fenders, 1 Nos front door and 2 rust free rear doors.

There front doors are dime a dozen but good luck on the rear doors.
