For some reason I am having alot of technical issues doing anything on this site, PM e-mail's ect...probably because I am not on here enough. Also I do not get on here everyday to ck my email's.
You are probably right about this, but I am only wanting to get this 79 Crew cab to a good home and let a fellow Ford person enjoy the owning of another awesome FORD vehicle.
Thanks for the concern for my private life, I am not so computer smart. Because I spend most of my time working on my truck or 4wheeling. Thank you to everyone who has responded with such real interest to my truck for sale, I will continue to get those picx sent out and "Let's make a deal"
77&79 F250 Where I live I do not worry about e-mail spammers, but put one foot on my property uninvited, and it will be SHOT off!!! Nuff Said

not safe to post an email address????? Sure you will get a bunch of Nigerian spamers/scammers saying "good day sir/madam I am interested in your itesm, can I have your current best price and it's latest condition"... but spam is all you get. If that's "unsafe" to you then so be it.
Can you tell I've gotten a few of those before???

OK, back to our CC subject...
Do any of you guys know where I can get a one piece floor mat for my '78 CC? Mine has carpet in it now, but that'll go on the fire pile soon as I can get started on it. I'd like to replace it with a rubber mat to keep the cleaning to a minimum. I've thought about stripping it to bare metal and spraying bedliner up to the bottom of the door panels, but that won't help as much with the noise as an insulated mat would. Any thoughts...?

I've used it on the inside of 1 ton vans for the sound deadening, but I gotta wonder what it'll do with a 5.9 cummins rattlin. Heat won't be the big issue. Noise will cause my wife to wanna pinch my head off though. Line-X and Rhino are good products, but I can get a cheaper version at cost, so I may go with it. I do like the easy clean idea more than anything. I'll have to do some work on the firewall for sound, as well as the hood. You think the bedliner'll work there too Steve?

In all honesty I have SOOO much I want to spray with Line-X that my buddy and I are considering buying a used gun to do our stuff, then do other people's stuff for side $$.
My current plan was to do the inside and underside of the cab AND bed with a generic spray that is very similar to Line-X but with out the brand name cost.
If I buy a gun I'll do the inside of the roof, inside of the doors, underside of my fiberglass (fenders, bedsides and maybe hood).
Either way I was going to run the spray up the inside of the firewall, and possibly the outside. I just want to make 100% sure I am done drilling holes, etc. in it before it gets sprayed.
I have never had the stuff in my own cab, but from those I have talked to that have it they LOVE it and say it's a great sound deadener. I like you will have the Cummins rattling the thing, but I still think Line-X will do the job.
Oh - and I'd spray it on my hood if I was keeping the boat anchor of a stock one!
