Longer Starts ??

I Noticed Now That Its Cold Out, When I First Go To Start My Truck It Cranks Longer The First Time In The Morning Before It Starts, After It Starts For The First Time It Fires Right Up Thereafter. What Could Cause This Or Is This Normal Because Its Cold. I Do Have It Plugged In.

cold thick oil is the biggest reason, the cold thick fuel also since we have mechanical fuel pumps, it takes a few turnovers of the pump to build pressure up

It Has A Brand New Starter Its Not That It Cranks Over Fast Just Takes Longer. I Agree Problably The Cold Thick Oil And Fuel. Any More Thoughts Would Be Appriciated,
