How bout a pic of the entire inner door panel. If I'm not mistaken the 73 has the same or very similar door panels to the 68-72 trucks. Good old Ford using left over parts in the new model styling.

Haven't forgotten you - just waiting for a day when my camera, a charged battery, and a sky not full of falling muck all meetup in my driveway...

Sunday Surprise

Got some door pics for ya, 7283-F250. Tacked onto the end of the same album.

Speaking of hasty tacking, some pics of scary looking welding work on the floor are there, too. The previous owner had new cab mounts put in. It looks like whoever did it grabbed a bunch of scrap from around the yard and a BFH, and called it a day. I was wondering why the cab looked a little askew and now have the answer. Not sure what to do at this point. I don't care if things are perfect just as long as they're solid. I'm not so sure this is.

The last pic is a video of the cab, just because the reverse lights and horn rigs had to be documented for posterity.

Looks like you got your work cut out for you.

For some reason i thought the 73 door panels were the same as the 68-72 Door panels. I though I saw one at one time with the 68-72 panels but you have the mid to late 70's style. The one I saw was either wrong or yours might have been changed out over the years. Guess we'll never know.

I'm pretty sure the interior in it's original. As you might be able to see, the extra screws/hols/whatever in the panels tell me that the owner, whatever he did do, was NOT going to replace those panels!

Don't see much rust in there, it's just that the repair work is so bad. Passenger side looks like the product of a drunken quiltmaker with all the steel plates and scrap welded in. Looks solid, just not square.
