on this past friday night my brother and i both filled our trucks up with diesel at the same store right down the road from the house. when my brother got home he revved his truck up and when the motor was slowing back down it loped a few times then went back to idle. this is when we started thinkin maybe he got some bad fuel being as there were no problems before he filled up. i didn't notice anything wrong with my truck until saturday morning.

on saturday morning my brother and i went to cabela's and since i was following him we were, of course, going about 75-80mph most of the way. got there and about an hour to an hour and a half later i went to start my truck to leave and it barely started. cranked over but would barely fire. once it did fire though it went ahead and ran like it should. truck has been running fine though. just seems to start up weird now since i filled up the other day. sometimes it starts fine and sometimes it doesn't. what do y'all think this is???? sorry for the long post.. thanks guys

 

Start off by checking the fuel bowl. (In both your trucks) It might be that you and your bro got alot of H2O.

 

my brother had to change both his fuel filters the day after he filled up. when he filled up his fuel pressure was 19psi and the day after the fuel pressure had to dropped to 7psi by later in the evening. i will check mine today and see what i find.
