Talking not another 9'' rear question

will a 70ish brake back plate and drums fit on to a 60s 9'' truck rear

large bearing and small bearing. each has two different bolt patterns for the flange bolting on....that may be your "snag".

thanks there havi maybe i'll just use the hole rear out of 70ish truck in stead

up to 72 will be a direct bolt in. 73 and newer is wider.

what are the measurements for the large + small bearings not sure what i have in mine

Backing plate bolt pattern:
small bearing has 3 1/2" (horizontal)by 2" (vertical) with 3/8 inch thread.
large bearing is 3 1/2"(horizontal) by 2 3/8" (vertical) with 1/2 inch thread.

A quick glance at the tube where it meets the flange can sometimes tell you if it's large or small. Most small bearing ones have a taper in the tube.

thanks again there havi i'm in the process of cleaning up my 9 rear taken off the old bent up back plates just trying to figure out what other back plates would fit

f****n cold up here how about there
