10 qt oil pan, L&L vs 7qt.
[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 04-Jul-01 AT 03:17 AM (EST)[/font][p]Has anyone used the L&L Oil pans that they have out. I have heard all about their conversion motor mounts and Headers but i have yet to hear about the Pans they have. anyone had any experience with them?

hey there, as a swapper myself, i have only heard that the 10-qt is will not fit in certain applications. but the 7 or 6 will fit in any. i think the lift size would be the clearance factor. but i will tell you this, you can get most of those parts from ford new, or used from http://www.jobriteauto.com/ . i know the 6 qt pans are only $135. and i got alot of stuff from them for the upgrade of my systems and the 460 thats going in. plus in the new petersons the 429/460 swap article seems to be an endorsement for L&L products. at least the preview on the internet site looks like it. i prefer the motor mounts from http://www.performanceunlimited.com/ over the L&L. and the brackets you need for alternator, p/s and even a/c can be found in your local junkyards. email me if you need anything, AXE
