Rear Ride Heights, Stock F150 vs F-150 HD
I have noticed that my newly acquired F-150 HD sits much higher in back than other F-150 models. I assume that's because of the HD springs and bigger rear axle. If some has the time to indulge my curiosity, if you have a standard GVW F-150 with stock, or more or less stock sized, tires... would you measure from the ground to the center of the wheel opening in back? In front too, please.
I gotta say, I am lovin' this truck! Only a few nitpicks, but it's a great driver. It goes like a rocket with the 4.10s and will make some pretty good white smoke if I power brake it. Maybe that's one reason why my second tank of fuel delivered only 13.5 mpg! Kinda like, "Wake up, darlin'... the honeymoon ain't over yet!"
