Highout put heater

Can any one tell me the difference for blower motors between the normal heater and highout put heater? I ask my local parts store for a blower for my 77 High Boy and the studs are facing the wrong way is this a defect or a motor for a regular heater? Also can any one help me find the correct blower motoer for the highout put heater?

High out put heaters the studs faced the fire wall. But the motors should be the same. Only the size of the heater core changed.

Only difference is the size of the heater core

There's two DIFFERENT blower motors.

With or without Air Conditioning.

D7TZ-19805-A .. A/C Heater Blower Motor (Motorcraft MM-337)

E2FZ-18527-A .. Heater Blower Motor (Motorcraft MM-214)

E2FZ-A is an updated Ford p/n, also used in 1980's Escorts. REPLACED FORD P/N: D7TZ-18527-A (Motorcraft MM-378)

Mine doesn't.. Mine has a larger Heater core.

H/O Heater core - 6" x 8"

Economy Heater core - 6" x 6"

They were meant for colder climate use

Will the high output heater core fit where a regular heater core was?

I took two late 70s Ford truck apart. One had a normal heater and the other had the high output heater. There really isn't a difference between the mechanics of the two cept for the size of the heater core. Bigger core in the high output. That was the two options of heater cores I had. There is a small rectangular plastic sign on the dash bezel between the vent controls and radio saying; High Output Heater. I woonder if the cores are interchangeable?

Well got the fan replaced but in the process of taring it all apart I busted a hole in the heater core and had to order a new one. What a pain this has become trying to figure out why the heat doesn't work. Put the new blower motor in and still does not work properly only works in high mode. Tested the switch it is good any ideas? Let me say I'm happy i bought this as my project but it seems every day some thing new decides to take a crap on me.
