6.0 Block Heater

Did the 6.0 trucks come from the factory with block heaters like the 7.3s? Im asking for my dad he has a 05 6.0 F350 King Ranch CC LB DRW And if he had one where would I start looking for it.

Mustangbru8 is starting off with a positive reputation.
All 6.0's have an engine block heater but not all have the cord. If it has the cord it will be behind the passenger side tow hook.

Mustangbru8 is starting off with a positive reputation.
It will have a cover over the receptacles, so you won't see the actual receptacles. Good luck and if it is not there then you can get the cord from International or the dealer

Where is the block heater receptacle located? I just got my cord and am ready to intall.

Go under the truck on the passanger side and it is right under the starter.

Look through the passenger side wheel well it will be above the starter..

Can't see it from under the starter.

Note: Heater is to the left of the freeze plug.

I just went out and found it. Guess what I also found? My truck already had a cord. Previous owner had wired it way up out of the way. Apparently never used it and did not want it in the way. I had looked several times before and could not find it. Ordered a cord off fleabay. Guess I have an extra now. Thanks everyone.

They come from the factory tied up out of the way like that.

Previous owner probably was told he didn't have one..
