Leaking Coolant

Hello all, I replaced my heater plenum about a year ago. I figure while I was in there I would replace the heater core and the heater control valve under the hood by the firewall. Ever since the valve has leaked. I only notice it when its really cold.I had taken the new one back for a replacement and it does the same thing. Not alot of coolant being lost at one time but it trickles out of the valve. Anyone else run into this? I hope evryone is well, Joe

could be a bad part supplier? Take it back, get a refund, and Try a different store.

The hoses seemed to be in ok condition, so I didn't change them. Luckly it leaks outside the truck. Thanks for the input.

The hoses can appear to be O.K. and still leak just a little. I just replaced a heater hose that appeared to be O.K. but had a very small leak in it. They just get old and brittle.
