1. DP tuner F5-16 Chip install.

a. Had to get adapter pipe made 4" pipe that is 4 1/4" on one side and 4" on the other.
3. HPX Oil cross over line
4. CCV Delete
5. Exhaust 3.5" down pipe, 4" all the way back (Magnaflow)
6. Coolant filter kit installed
7. AIH delete plug

Modifications purchased waiting for install (In order of install)
1. Pyro gage install
2. ITP In fuel tank mixer delete
3. ITP external fuel filter
4. Rebuilt gtp38 turbo
a. WW
b. Banks 1.0 exhaust housing
c. Bank big head actuator
d. EBPV delete Cored out and plugged
e. EBPV delete on turbo pedestal

Planed Modifications when money allows
ITP Regulated return
Bowl delete, with new filter assembly. (when kit is available.)

Is there a question here? You do have lots of mods and pending mods.

 

More a statement looking for suggestions?

 

No the question is, was there any glairing mods missing without breaking the bank.
.... The pending list will not be gotten to until mid year if not next.
I seem to still have an oil leak even after new seals for the HPOP..... so the install time and $ will have to be used for other things.... New tranny :-)

 

If it were me I would install gauges. With the DP, even in 80 econo the EGTs will climb fast and high at WOT. A 4' down pipe would help with the EGTs. I would also install the OBA soon, out trucks start defueling at 22# boost. With the DP I would think you are getting more than that.


Just a few things I would do soon.

 

I see a pyrometer on the list but why not boost and transmission temp?

 

I havent really gotten up on it yet... well maybe once. as I didnt have a pyro gage installed. I realize how important it is.

The trans and bost are really low on the list. :-)

 

Take back the Big head actuator, and use the money to do tranny, and boost guages. do the ghetto spring mod($3.00) for the stock wastegate and you will be good.

 

Included in the turbo rebuild... he had the extra parts.
Im really hopeful about the new turbo once all the other parts are in.
I had thought about a 6.0 intercooler... but I heard it takes crisco and a shoe horn to get it in... that and Im unsure how much help it would be at part throttle ? Stop light to stop light fun?
