plug change
i got a price today on changing the plugs on my 04 screw 5.4 plugs labor and all 240 does thissound resonable?

Does that include labor if they break any?

sadly no but thy said they let the penitraing oil sit for 3 hours before they try to take them out if they do break they said it would be 40 a broken plug

Just pray they don't break many (hopefully none). That could get pricey quick. It is not a bad price though.

i have 72,000 it wasent runing bad i just wanted to get them done before 100,000 its in the shop now ill let ya guys know how it turns out

$40 per broken plug is a steel. Go for it. Ask for the old ones to see how they look.

I'm guessing that $40 is if they break them and can extract them with the extractor. Or is it any type of plug break?

well got my truck back today they broke 3 the end bill was 337 and some change

My truck is @ the dealer right now. $466.00 for plugs. All the pressure is on them. Even if they have to pull the head. I know they broke atleast one. For the money I hope they all broke. Truck has 112,000 on it.
