There is a little screw on the back of the bar that you can adjust. I don't really know how much lift you can get, but you should be able to level it. The main disadvantage is that it makes the torsion bars wear faster by putting more strain on them.

crawl under the truck and look about - under the front seats. the torsoion bar is tow rods that come from the fron wheel a-frame to the cam under the seat on the frame. there is no coil spring on this truck, the torsion is a twisted hex rod. you can see a screw on each cam pointed down toward the ground. you can turn them inward and lift the truck maybe 1 inch. their purpose is to levle the truck side to side and front to back. it really does not change the loading as you raise and lower. thing about it, the truck weight has not changed, as you push on the screw, the truck goes up. raising or lowering has no ill effects.

well it might have some ill effects, if you really crank the bars it puts the front cv shafts at a more extreme angle than they were before, increasing the wear, this wont ruin them but could definitely accelerate the wear on these parts

the CV joints might be effected if you raise the truck 3-4 inches. the stock cams will only allow you to raise up an inch or slightly more.

I need to do this too.

My question is after turning them do you need an alignment?

And do you do say one turn on one, and then one turn on the other? Or does it matter?

I measured mine at a few points before and then raised the drivers side the the passenger side an equal number of turns. then measured again to make sure I was ever then again after a trip around the block. didn't level it but close, and looks better, maybe a little stiffer

i leveled mine on saturday in my friends garage. i measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well and it was 37 in the front and 38 1/2 in the back. when i was done it was 38 1/2 all the way around. i love the new stance of my truck and the way it rides. and i also took the step bars off so it looks 4 inches taller.

I did the exact same thing as Joel and I was extremely happy. That inch and a half makes a huge difference in appearance.

Everyone has told you where to find them.... but failed to mention you need to jack the front of your truck up before turning them.

Measure, the lift the front of the truck, turn them, then let it down and drive around for a few miles them measure again, you may need to do this a couple times until you get the right height.

You don't have to jack the front up to do it. I actually tried that but it didn't make that much of a difference, at least on my truck. Your truck may be completely different. I believe the bolt is 18mm, and you will probably want a breakover bar or long-shaft ratchet.

it is an 18mm bolt
there are some ill effects to doing this your bars will start to saggggg
so for a few months you will have an inch lift then a half inch
then it will be back to stock
you will need to aling your truck after doing this mod or you will screw up your tires
i cranked up mine and they snapped both of them came un****ed not a fun ride so my recomendation is save some coin and buy a lift kit
