ray, if your brackets are good, just put a set of mirror heads from the 87-97 trucks on them. they bolt rite on, and give you the advantage of having the passenger side "wide-view" mirror also.

i did this with my 79 and was very pleased with the results.

TJC, I dont see how the later mirrors will work on his arms, they look tubular, the 80+ are flat.

80+ mirrors. They wont work if you have any upper trim. The metal mirrors from 80-97 will work on 79 and older arms, and vice versa.

Factory 77-79

I like the 92-96 mirrors on these trucks. I 1st saw them on a truck on eBay and have been talking to RNOVRIT about running them because he has in the past. I'll put a pic in my gallery of a 78/79 crew with these mirrors

*edit* added pics - they are in my crew cab gallery

man I gotta learn how to link my pics like the...

Yeah I saw that truck on eBay and went "I need those mirrors". I am now searching for a set. It looks like they came on 92-86 Broncos and F-150's, as well as some of the F-250's and F-350's, but they sure do look good on our 70's rigs!
