dont listen to em. while i love my 01 excursion and 04 dually, i really want a 3rd truck just for a fun driver, an obs f150 2wd just to cruise in. when funds allow, i will def get me one. my favorite trucks ever.
Its hard to beat the feeling I get when I drive my trucks. I could care less what anybody else thinks about them, these trucks are the real deal and they're what I enjoy. I think we can all relate to that.
I can't really explain the REAL truck thing.
It's just that when I drive an OBS I feel like I'm riding in a tank (Not literally of course) but newer trucks just make me feel like I'm driving a big car, if that makes any sense.
Not only can I not afford a new truck, I don't think they are worth the price.
I'd rather fix up an old truck that I love to drive, rather than spend twice the amount for something I don't really like.
I've thought about factory Alcoas, but I've been looking at maybe a set of MT Classics
My vote is this. $81.00 and factory look but the ones you have there look good too. Get some chrome going on that slick black beauty. I love black and chrome. My 2012 5.0 has 20 inch chrome bullits on it. I love it. Oh but here you go on my pick for wheels. Edit: wow big picture
I was surprised the plow truck started right up, drove a little ways and died. I believe the fuel sending unit in the tank rotted out and couldn't pick up fuel. So I drilled a hole in the bottom of the box, cut the lines at the tank, feed them up into the box and then stick them in a gas can to run the truck. No more rusty gas tanks and sending units!
1994 F150 5.8l 4x4 with 170k miles. I paid $2000 for it. Currently working on basic maintenance tasks (oil, plugs, etc) and have some issues I need to resolve like cleaning up the frame which is covered in surface rust. I purchased it as a project vehicle and for home depot/ikea runs.

I always will miss my 96 F-250 4x4 known as 'GUZZLR', but I couldn't drive it much because of the volume of gas it sucked up. And the so called, "independent front axle" with 6" of lift would just eat up the bushings. It was one of the worst ideas Ford every put on a 4x4 truck...
I promise if you rode in my '04 F-350 diesel with the 6 spd. manual you would not feel like you are riding in a "big car"...
