Ya I know. We currently have 2 302s and a 351W I love the 351 alot it is a good engine but the 351 is in a F250 flatbed. the 302s are in F150s. I like my 302 alot to but the 351 does great can't wait till it is on the road it is going to be our work truck. I always loved the 92-96 front clip but we don't have any like that all ours are 80-86 and 87-91.

I was meaning thats what I have seen our 89 F250 4x4 flatbed 351 only ran for 15 minutes till it ran out of gas and I haven't touched it yet because it needs body work and other trucks tha run better are on my list of fixing. I haven't had much experience with a 300 inline I want to get 1 of our neighbors 84 F100 stepside 300 inline.

That is identical to the exhaust I had on my old 89! Same dual, same angle, same spot, and same cut on the pipes. If the truck were black I would say it was mine. lol

i think it will be a perfect set-up, when the exhaust was stock i bent up the tailpipe when backing into snow/ice banks. so it should be safe infront of the rear tire..i hope lol
having alittle back pressure may help the fuel consumption..a tad. i get about 3-4mpg plowing as of last season.
