I have a 2003 4x4 Eddie Bauer and am looking for some kind of rear helper spring, air bag, or rubber bushing. I need to to take some weight from a trailer so the rear end doesn't sag so bad with the extra weight on it.

Has anybody found anything that will will work on the 2003 and later models?

 

Do you have a weight distribution hitch on your truck/trailer?

 

Yes, I have a weight distribution hitch for one trailer, but want to support some of the weight on the vehicle so that the weight distribution hitch does not have to be adjusted so tight. WIthout the weight distribution hitch the trailer causes the Expedition to bottom out. I also have a utility trailer that doesn't have a weight distribution hitch and that with a heavy load will cause a lot of sag on the rear end.
